Title: Can I get player tracking to light up?
Post by: Cocotech on December 12, 2020, 12:56:50 PM: I have this Bally player tracking unit (see pics), which does not seem to be connected to any power, data,etc. This is an IGT I-game, 044 MPU, Panda cabinet with Bettor slots TITO installed. There is no SAS cable or any obvious power connector. I do not need the card reader to actually read cards, but I was wondering if I can at least get it to "light up" to match the rest of the machine. Do I need a special control unit or can it be hot wired to light up?

Your photo should have at least one side ( height or width ) sized to 1000 pixels or 1000kb.

Your photo won't allow us to see the writing on the circuit board clearly.

I'm pretty we can tap into a couple of power wires to light up the PT LEDs.

Post by: mvco on December 12, 2020, 05:17:41 PM: Same type I have a bunch of. I would suggest buying a Mastercom 250 or 300 box, and hook all that up. It's fun to have the card reader lights as well as the display with a message.

Post by: rickhunter on December 15, 2020, 08:58:25 AM: It's Mastercom stuff. A Mastercom 250 will get it lit up. Contact the Ken, he can set you up with the missing parts. But other than a scrolling message on the display and the leds around the card reader to light up, it won't do anything after that. But it does look cool to see it all lit up.

And I'm pretty sure it came out that trump casino that had all the bright gold cabinets.
