Mastercom 250 issue on my igt vision machine
« on: August 17, 2020, 01:10:45 PM »
So I hooked up a player tracking bracket with a mastercom 250. It’s hooked up to the card reader then the display screen. When I turned it on I get the words Scrolling but I’m also getting the whole screen turning white on and off. I have three other machines with no issue. I tried Swapping parts from one machine to the other and I’m still getting it just on this IGT vision machine. Don’t know what it could be. Any help would be great. Thank you.

What "parts" did you swap?

I swapped the card reader from one to another. The mastercom, the vfd. The power supply. Everything.

so try unplugging the card reader and the keypad and have only the mastercom and the VFD hooked up and see what it does. I haven't seen this particular problem but i have seen the VFD chip be corrupted and make weird things happen.
