looking for help on my dbv 145-sg for a Bally Game Maker VIP slot.the black 6 pin connector on the left side of the dbv got stuck in the door and pulled the end off of the wire. there is only 2 wires that push into the 6 pin connector. Idk which pin holes they go into. Question # 2 the coin exceptor works fine but the dbv will not take bills. red light is on dip switches 1-8 are all off and 2nd block 1-2 are off as well. screen says that it is disabled . once i fix question #1, I would like to get dbv to work too. thanks

I would highly recommend throwing the DBV145 in the trash and upgrading to a DBV200. They're not expensive, have 4 way acceptance and will take $1's and $20's. Your 145 will only take old style bills and, in my opinion, isn't worth the hassle to fix. They break (or at least mine did) constantly.
I KNOW another member will chime in on this shortly. There are a lot of threads on the same topic if you poke around here in the bill validator section.
