Title: Coil Identification on a Universal Captains Loot slot machine.
Post by: mikebetz42 on May 11, 2021, 11:40:09 AM

Trying to identify a burned up coil on a Universal Captains Loot slot machine.

Drive transistor location is a plus, but I have a feeling it might be easy to spot. I haven't pulled the board yet.

I would unplug it and forget about it. Used by casino's to divert incerted coins to a bucket in the slot stand after the hopper was full.

Hoppers have a sensor that grounds when coins fill the hopper. That activates the solenoid to move the deflector plate. Not needed for home use.
