Universal Ultra Series Double Marquise

Hi there, I just picked up a universal ultra series double marquise slant top machine.  When I power it the win meter display says 8.8.8. and the credit meter says 999, then it continuously spits coins out into the payout area.  I can feed the coins back into the hopper and it seems to go on forever.   This is my first universal machine.  Any ideas out there?

The person I got the machine from helped me reset the mpu several times to get it running.....sort of.  Now it plays but stutters.  I put an oscilloscope on the 5V line from the power supply and there is a lot of noise on it.  Looks like it is dropping out periodically, which causes the reels to pause and the game to be delayed.     Does anyone have the schematic for this power supply or know if there is a common fix?

Not yet, I wasn't aware of this section and will have to take a look at it this evening.   Attached are some waveforms I am seeing in the 5.2V pin on the power supply.

I don't know if you have my recent post. I have exactly the same power supply on the Ultra slot I have. It continuously shows code 11. It appears low input voltage. I have contacted K-Lar in Las Vegas and they do work on Universal's. I have replaced the capacitor related to another post here for a code 11 fix. here is the link http://newlifegames.com/nlg/index.php?topic=14923.0 If you have any resolution I would appreciate if you could send me a message. I have measured with a multi-meter the 5 volts off the pink wire off the power distribution on the back of the machine. I do get just over 5 volts but it may not be clean. If I find anything I will let you know. It appears your machine has more going for it than mine.

I haven't found a resolution for my issue yet.  My machine is displying code 13  intermittently (power interruption).
