DBV-145-SS Not accepting bills.

I have a Wild Cherry Machine M/#:B5132CFIW from '94.
I got it with a DBV-145-SS bill validator (software ver 2.15) already installed, but not functioning.
I had to replace the Cmos batt on the unit and rebuild the power supply for the BV.
Currently the unit is fully working save for the BV which upon startup cycles through a few light flashes and gears turning followed by the light going out and nothing.
Any help would be appreciated.

Try a $1 dollar bill...  :money: it's the only thing that DBV-145  will accept.
You need to upgrade to a DBV-200.  :yes:

Its not even trying to take bills unfortunately.
Upgrading is not out of the question, but I do want to try fixing this unit, even if it does only take ones.

After replacing the battery you probably need to re-activate the BV and set the denom with a set15 chip.
