Title: WOF WHeel Motor Compatibility - S2000 vs SAVP
Post by: speedbump on April 21, 2019, 09:58:29 PM
I have a wheel motor from a WOF S2000.  Does anyone know if it will work in a WOF SAVP?
Thanks!

Just as long as the black ring is the same.

There is a black ring that is part of the optics for the wheel that is on the motor. I don't have a picture handy.....

His motor was supplied as a spare, I don't think it had the ring. Assumption being if his motor went bad he could use the origional ring on the new motor

Just for a note to all this,  The black ring is a opto/tone ring with flags square boxes sticking off it and they are specific.   If a flag is missing you get a tilt,  If it's the wrong one for anyone's application--you get a tilt.  The center (top) motor spins with the ring on it while passing thru the opto pick up and the data is transferred to the mpu or brain box. etc.
