Is it worth it?

I picked a lot of games and this game maker was part of it, it seems to be missing the main board but everything else is there-
is it worth it to source a board and chips for this for a reasonable price?

Tilt:
Do you mean working or as is?  Location can also make a difference in value.

Just for reference I bought a working 13" Gamemaker in Michigan a couple of months back for $550.  It had a new LCD monitor and came with two extra (working) MPU boards and a couple of other small parts.  I think I got a good deal on it, but that's probably a fair price for a working one with a CRT around here.

Wesley910:
I would say I have just under 200 in it if I average out what was paid for the lot- how much would it cost for a main board and chips? also, I have the bill validator it just pulled it to look at

Tilt:
I think you'll do ok as long as the monitor is working.  I haven't had to buy a MPU, but I've seen them in the $75 - $150 range in the past.

Wesley910:
Do you think there’s a way to test the monitor with out the main board?
