I think NLG should have a master list that can be clicked on that lists, by state, city, or towns and shows which shops do service in that area.
We get a lot of emails from people all over the country looking for service in their area.
It would be convenient if there was a master service list of shops and the areas they service.
The customer could click on their state and see who is closest to them.
Now all I can do is direct them to the vendor buttons at the top of the NLG page and tell them to click on every link until they find a service possibility in their area.
Joey, what do you think?

I'd would also like to see it be mandatory for members to completely fill out their profiles, especially their location.
I'm not singling you out Badbaud but you make my point for me. You list no location in your profile. I might not follow up on one of your posts, or I might waste your time with a PM to find out where you are located. I can do my homework to figure out if you are driving distance or if I need to find a shipper before I contact you if I know where you are???
Your suggestion is a good one Badbaud. A simple managed list by state would benefit our active vendors.

I have dibs on Las Vegas, that is where we are located.
-
It may also be helpful to list the kinds of services that are offered.
I know our shop is one of the few that still repairs Fortune 1 and Bally 3 card racks but we don't mess with anything with a hard drive or requires CF cards to re-boot.

Well some of us live in places that are not actually friendly about owning slots, especially if they were made after 1950! :duh:
So our residence is a bit of a mystery. We do what we can, but don't really make a big noise about it, if you know what I mean.

I second that Dave!! :thank_you:

That is fine, and I respect the privacy concerns but our shop does not sell slots we just fix boards and machines.
I am sure many shops that sell machines also do repairs which I assume is not a "jail-able" offense.

There is also a shop in Palm Beach Fl.

I'm located in Warner Robins, Georgia. Pretty much the center of the state actually. Easy access to I75 and I16 for travelers looking to buy, sell or trade.
Not a slot friendly state, but I get by alright servicing and selling a couple of machines per month. I just reiterate the fact that they are for entertainment purposes only.
I own and mess around with Bally S5500, S6000 and Alpha 9000's, WMS Bluebirds and IGT S+, S2000's and AVP's.
Anyone nearby that may need parts, maintenance, games etc. don't hesitate to shoot me a message.
Nice meeting all of you.

Old post but interesting. I'll comment. Probably a shot in the dark but never made a shot I didn't take. Any Texans here? I know that's broad but no point in specifics if there's no one close by. Texas is not a state where much of anything needs to stay hidden....

One in Ft. Worth, one in Baytown.

Anything near San Antonio Texas?

Not yet.
