Igt m+ reel problems

I have a igt m+ that the reels dont stop correctly after cycle starts giving a too slow 1 fault any help is appreciated  :EmoticonHelp4:

sounds like your reel kicker needs some lubrication, the solenoid fires and drives the reel spinning, then the other fires and stops it.  check the operation of each one and lube each one , check the reset wheel on the front of each kicker, they are cork and crack  and break up.  also the ribbon cables become intermittent , most are hard wired!

Found broken reel optic lots of dried Grease one roller not moving cleaned everything up lubed with 3n1 oil freed roller and super glued optic back together plus found one bad wire for solenoid repaired machine is working fine now ran 500 coins through it not one problem


DOES A M+ HAVE SOUND?

Nice work!  Glad to hear it's working  :applause: . 

Yes, it should have sound.  When I got mine it didn't and I traced the wiring from the speaker back and found a bad connection somewhere.  Can't remember exactly where it was though. 

Another thing to check for is to make sure it has a sound daughter board on top of the mpu.  I'll go take a picture of mine and post it for you.

Here's a picture of the sound board and volume control.  It's located above the reels. 

When I went to take a picture I remembered where my speaker connector came loose.  It was on this board inside the door.  Just plugged it back in and all was well.

No sound boards in machine as for video will try when grandkids are over


WHAT ARE THE PROPER MEASUREMENTS FOR THE ROLLER CAM FOLLOWER I MEARURED 1/4 ID 1/4 THICK 3/4 OD MINE ARE working but going to make some extra and keep in machine mine are still original
