Title: Looking for part number for Ceronix trimpots - FOUND
Post by: Richard S on June 22, 2023, 01:19:58 PM
Does anyone have a lead on a manufacturer and part numbers for the trimpots on a Ceronix control board like the ones in the picture?

Have immediate need for 10K, but would like to be able to purchase others.

Thanks.

Found what I needed at http://www.therealbobroberts.net/ (http://www.therealbobroberts.net/) (scroll down to Parts Page)

Are you looking specifically for Ceronix original part number, or just looking to replace some that are not working? There are several Ceronix manuals in the file system and every component has a Ceronix reference number. Ceronix no longer supports any CRT product. I have never seen color coded thumb adjusters other than on the remote board. There must be hundreds of those boards sitting in someone’s parts box somewhere. Lol
If you just want to replace one that doesn’t work, Digikey sells them in all shapes and sizes. Personally I bought an assortment box on Amazon and they work fine.

Thanks, Chris.
I'm looking for replacements. I've been on DigiKey and Mouser, but no joy finding this footprint. I'm unconcerned about color.

Can you give me a link/company name to the ebay assortment that had the appropriate size pots for the Ceronix?
I have Ceronix manuals for the xx92 and xx93. Never found one for the xx90 on the Ceronix site or elsewhere.

Oh, its real common to have an unmatching footprint, you can solder on a component lead to extend the third lead or sometimes you can just bend the 3 leads so they will fit.
