Title: Jennings Victory Chief 1942- Newbie Looking 4 Help

I am a newbie on here and with machines.
I got my father-in-law's old slot home from Florida to NJ. It was working fine but now does not pay out. Otherwise seems OK but a few cracked glasses and clean up.
I have the manual, but I am having trouble following.
Can someone here help?
I hope that I am in the right place of the site.

it has a mill's handle on  it . as far as payout check to make sure coins in tube or flat   moving it that far they might be on sides in tube and that would jam slides
