I'm looking for better quality glass for 809 machine.
Also possible parts machines. 809, 1090 and 1088.
Let me know if you are clearing out at a reasonable price.
Could make a trip from California visiting friends near Dallas and pick up machines.

For some reason wasn't able to attach photos of what glass I need.
Will try later.

Do you have any total-in and total-out meters, with mounts, which are mounted on the reel mech?

Thanks

hello the fatman

The ram board he is asking about is shown below in an example photo of an E-1000 mpu board. The ram board is a smaller piggyback board that attaches to the top of the E-1000 mpu board. Bally p/n is AS-2979-1 for the ram board.

Also, for clarity and because drfreeze1739 may not be overly familiar with his E-1000 mpu it should be pointed out that U28, the 2650 cpu chip, is missing from his board. Just wanting to avoid any surprises.....

Are those 2 chips, the program chip and personality chip?

o im familiar with them..

just haven't worked on one in years...

have a lot of boards..

forgot what ones go with what machine...

Yes it is missing all the chips in the board.

that is the way i got it..

thats why i all was post pics of what i have so you can see it first..

ok, I wasn't sure if you were aware of the cpu chip being gone. It's not unusual for the 24 pin eprom sockets to be empty, they contain the game software and people often replace them anyway. But the 40 pin u28 cpu chip is usually on the boards that I see.

you're welcome. I think NLG members dhellis, ramegoom and badbaud (and others I'm sure) are very familiar with these boards and the Bally E-1000/E-2000 machines, in case you want to learn from the experts - I'm just paddling downstream.    :propeller:

PS> those guys may have a source for the 2650 cpu chips. If not they could be a little hard to find for a good price.

Cleaned all the pins and found that U30 had 3 broken pins (7474N) so I will replace that chip and all of the others are reseated and looking good.... We will see where that brings us ... thanks to yall
