Did you know you can change the light color at the bottom, on these Ballys?
-
OK Ron,
Do tell
-
To change colors on the bottom, open the belly glass part at the bottom. You will find 8 dip switches and
a label telling the settings for the colors. Colors are Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, Purple and White.

Aww...so the bank of dips is not on the light board itself! I've had people asking me, and I didn't have a clue, but they were asking if the light boards we have have dips on them. Since they don't, I figured it was a later model Alpha.
Good to know Ron! Thanks for sharing!

My machines must be older as they do not have the dip switch pack. :banghead:
-
Oh no! I'm betting our batch will not either then....Good to know for the future I guess. Darn it!

Here is a look at a S9000 Elite belly switches.
-
I have an elite that has two separate led boards, the colors cannot be changed. Then I have 2 with the dip switches.
-
I wish my S9000 had these dipswitches. :hissyfit:
Is it an "Elite" when there is a widescreen in the top box? Mine is a 15" and not widescreen.
-
I'm confused at your picture. Are the dip switches on the LED board itself or somewhere else? My M9000 or S9E doesn't seem to have them. I'll have to check my Cinevision.
-
I checked an older S9-1 and it had the dips on the back of the light board that's mounted in the belly badge.

The second picture shows the back of the oval belly light (white housing). The LED board is mounted just above and separate from the oval belly light on the frame and not the door. The speaker is on the left where the two red connectors are. My S9000 Elite has the 20" screen in the top box. Manufactured in in 2009. For more detail, click to enlarge.
Correction made: Year of manufacture change from 2006 to 2009.

I would love to get my hands on a couple of these boards then. I am sure they can fit in an older model cab?

Why yes I do Ron! Probably have 5-6 at least, maybe more (some are still in cabinets).
Thanks for the shout!
