Title: DBV-200 Not Accepting Bills....Solved

I know this is a frequent topic and I have read most, if not all of the old posts....Maybe I missed something...and someone can give me some guidance...I have an IGT S+ Machine....the DBV-200 lights up and has worked in the past. Now it will not accept any bills....It makes all the sounds on start up...and I went back to one of the previous posts (September 17, 2021) about moving the 6 dip switch on the bottom of the head. The test worked...the bills moved to the back of the unit. I put this DBV entire unit in another S+ machine that I have and it works fine. I have used a set chip to make sure it reads 9-1 (enable), changed cash boxes, the demon is set at.25, and reset some of the options....still no luck. The machine accepts coins and plays well except for the DBV. Could there be an option max or min limit that I missed? Any help is greatly appreciated...John

Okay, when you did this, did you move the attached power supply too?
There's definitely something different between your two cabinets.
If your settings with the two cabinets are the same, then it's something physical.
Nail it down.
Perhaps swap out the harness?
Could be something simple like a bad ground wiring pin inside of a connector housing.

Quick Question...Are all power supplies the same? I will make the change later and report back...John

Power supply that has vents is a little higher amps. If you find that to be your issue, which it could be, check with NLG member Jim, he has new power supplies.

Special Thanks to Jim at Midwest Slots....His recommendations and guidance were right on target....Although all my DBV lights worked, the unit would not accept any bills. After trying several other options....I did a ram clear and a reset of the machine as recommended. I then set up the options  again....the lights came on....and the machine works like new.....
