Title: Does SP343 allow bill validator operation?

I got a S+ game in and did a clear and set (9-1 25c)  on it but the bill validator won't accept the bill, it takes it in, waits a while, then spits it back out.
This usually means the bill head is not communicating with the MPU board.
What would be a replacement SP chip that will work on this game SS3282 and allow for bill acceptance?

I'd use an SP733 (Type 0,1,4,5,12) and a SET15 to enable the DBV.
