I have a Sigma model SG—300 Free-N-Easy Treasure Wheel slot machine. I have it running and playing, but every time you turn it on to play it, within the first 5 plays the game pauses for a few seconds and the display says Lamp Comm Error. I have been searching both the old and this forum for a solution to the problem. I have not found a definitive answer to this message. The manual is not much help. Does anyone know if the manual is referring to the distribution board on the door, or the board located in the top box behind the treasure wheel?? The cables all look good, no physical damage to them.. The super Cap on the main board has a full charge of just over 4V.
This error message only show up in the first few plays, then doesn’t reappear until the next time it’s powered on? All the caps read good on all the boards with my ESR meter. I have even removed the crimp connectors where I found to clean then and stretch them open just a bit for a tighter connecton. Nothing has helped?? Does anyone have any spare parts for these games??
