Title: Help identifying IGT video poker
Post by: Chris-socal on February 23, 2021, 12:21:28 PM
The machine has attributes of both a Fortune and a PE. It has vocals and accepts up to 10 coin bet. After some minor tuneup it plays quite well. The bulbs don't light on the discard buttons but the bulbs are good. It also requires you to collect coins after every hand, no accumulation of credits. I wonder if dip switches control that.
Thanks,

Chris

That's a heck of a poker game, paying back 100% with perfect play.

To me it looks more like a Fortune 1 machine, at least from the outside. I'm going to move this to the Fortune section for now -- hopefully someone there can give a better identification of it.

Thank you Kevin. I don’t know if someone changed the odds or if they had this set to keep people playing but it sure pays out great! I would stay on this machine if it was at a casino!

Based on the paytable on the glass, it's a break-even game over the long haul.  9/6 Jacks or Better is a nice, boring, nearly break-even game at the casino anyway, but the increase of the Royal Flush to 5,000 on a 5-coin bet (instead of the typical 4,000) is what brings the game up from 99.54% up to just a hair over 100%.
