Title: S2000 Multi-Denomination help
Post by: 61Wally on March 23, 2024, 07:10:43 AM
Good Morning to All. I’m trying to setup My S2000 touch panel and I’m Not understanding the thread directions in relationship to the amounts/game/ button assignment on the touch panel. I’ve done quite a few in the past, each selection having a different amount. This is my first attempt at a touch panel that has $1,$2 on top left to right and $1,$2 on the bottom left to right. I’m Overthinking Something that will be carved onto the wall for the future. As Always I really appreciate the help/support/patience You give me.

I’m Sorry and I apologize for my ignorance here. This is the thread that I followed and it’s Not allowing me to put in the options that I need. I looked at the machine next to it when I pull up the programming for 7.1.2, the service light is lit up and I toggle it, the display shows the 4 denominations that are available, ALL with the same % payout. After key chipping this one when I toggle through it display is showing Games 1-10 All show $1.00. After that it shows $2.00 disabled. This is where I’ve become Confused. My nickname “DD” is working today, Dementia Dan is totally confused about this. I’m Not understanding why it’s like this and I can’t seem to change it. Machine had 0 credits on it as well.

After Zeroing out the credits I Only Key chipped it with a #17, I did Not clear it with a #97 first. Was I supposed to clear the machine before keying it when I converted it to a multi-denomination touchpad?

When changing denoms it is usually best to clear first, also try using key 31 after the 97 clear.

I will try that Thank You. Thinking about it now, I should have described the conversion I was doing to the machine in my first post. Very hard to get the correct answer/support without describing how the issue came about, MY BAD on that part. Update to follow!!!

PROBLEM/iISSUE RESOLVED. FIRST OFF, I would like to apologize to “STAYOUTTADABUNKER” for NOT posting my S2000 issue properly. The information posted should have been from the VERY BEGINNING of Exactly what I was tryiny to accomplish. You, “SIXCARDMARK” and many other members have been SO supportive in helping me learn about these machines. When a person posts 10% of the problem they’re having, It makes it Very difficult and time consuming for anyone to provide the information needed to solve the issue at hand. My Crystal ball broke last night, and I sure can’t read anyone’s mind especially my own!!! Take Care and THANK YOU ALL AT NLG.

DA I forgot, FYI, After clearing,(#97) and Keying,(#31) All of the garbage denominations were erased and I was able to enter the information correctly. Working Properly Now.
