hi i just pick up a non-working game and got it working. The display pictured is not working.by chance can it be turned off is this option maybe someone did, or do they burn out or may it be a power supply issue. I know that happens on Williams. I kind of a newbie to the s2000.well game passes its self-tests and fires up with no problems. Well, any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

Nooo..it's not an option to turn it off. haha
It could either be disconnected or burned out.
Take a look and see if the harness is connected to the back of it with a multimeter.
Follow that harness back and see if the voltages are okay.
If the harnessing is okay, then you might want to place a WTB ad in the Classifieds section of NLG and hopefully a vendor/member will spot it and have one for ya.

hi
I'm having the same problem and it's still not resolved, as soon as I plug it in it burns up in the same exact spot i just bought 2 off of ebay for 15 each

Check the denom panel light. Incorrectly replacing the denom panel light causes a direct short on that display.
Don't ask me how I know this....

well that wasn't it, burnt another board, reset the other display changed the I/O card and still burnt it instantly

Put a multi-meter on it and check the voltages coming out of the harness.

yes i've done that and get readings anywhere from 6 to 13 but there is 1 reading at 24 v I must not be doing it right because i get the same reading on another machine like it and it has no problems, for the life of me I can't get this thing right
