I am working on a mustang universal, repaired the power supply reset board now comes up with 50 like it should then makes error sound and alternates 62 with 50
looked at the error code list did not see a 62 ?????????

that code indicates the bottom cpu isn't talking to the top cpu. you probably don't have any display in the bonus section, in the top box,there is a unit that has two boards, the top board is the 5vdc power supply that feeds the bottom board, the bottom board has some red LEDS and push buttons in the back left corner, turn the power off, push and hold the push buttons on the bottom board, turn on the power, hold for a few seconds, then release. you should now have a test pattern running on the bonus display, if not ,then you still have a problem in the top box. If the display is good then you have to reset the bottom cpu, this is done the same way except you have to remove the hopper and find the hole in the bottom of the board cage and find the push button located on the board, do the same procedure.
