I'm working on a sync problem on a 1987 Players Edge poker game. Board model 7570260. Have a manual that has all the schematics missing. Got the Ceronix 1492 monitor working with some new caps. The sync signals from the computer look bad on my scope. Also the blue is showing positive going signals and the green/red are negative going. The game appears to be working as indicated by the changing video data and the sound when pressing the test button. I tested all the eproms for stability by read/verify. Also the color prom (74LS471) verified with itself. I get no horizontal or vertical stability on the screen. I suspect the CRT controller or some discrete.
Can anybody point me to a good game board schematic?

Remember, IGT used an inverted signal.

This is all I could find, hope it helps.

It's a pdf and downloads just fine.

Knagl is referring to the 2 photos in the OP's original post. They are showing up as broken links. As you say, your schematic pdf file does download ok.

Wow, didn't even show up on my computer.

Thank you for the schematic! The problem was C13, a 10uf capacitor. Also, I was confused by the inverted color output and the standard sync "positive going" logic. This design is strange.. a home-made DAC made of flip-flops and a resistor network? Never seen anything like it before.
Sorry about the 403 error on the 2 pictures. Somehow my htaccess file was missing .jpg extensions?

The pictures are showing up now. Did you get your issue resolved then with your game?

I think this is the area of the schematic.

That area of the board gets so hot the traces go bad and usually have to be repaired.
