Title: I-game meter disconnected problems
Post by: rjpohl on August 15, 2022, 03:43:04 PM
I've been trying to help a guy with the meter disconnected error.  Not sure of the model but guess it's some early i-game.
it has a 3902 board that has been tested in another machine.  The machine does not have i/o boards but I think that is what is mounted to the top board (see pics).  He has bypassed the meters by jumping the 2 wires on the plug.
Let me know if anyone has a way to check his top board.
thanks
Bob

Hey Bob,

It's an older 13" GK.  If the 3902 board works ok in another machine then the problem is on the I/O card tray.  One (or possibly both) of the IO may be bad, or possibly bent pins on the motherboard connector.  The IO boards for these older machines seem to be getting harder to find.  Maybe check with Baudbaud and see if they have anything.  If that doesn't work out I can check it out for you if you want to send them my way and aren't in a hurry to get fixed.
