Serial idle is high. To send a bit, it goes to ground. Can you take a voltmeter and see if you get any voltage readings on the 4 pin header? That should tell you the serial level voltage you need to deal with and if you need a TTL adapter or if it is simply a connecter with rx/tx flipped. The pin with positive voltage is your TX pin (if it isn't 24v)... I'm expecting 3.3, 5, 12, 16... ?? |
