i had an i game given to me with a hole cut in the side for a handle. just out of curiosity i hooked up a switch to the 2 wires that looked like they would go to the handle if it was installed. in io test it registers that the slot handle is being triggered but the game doesn't do anything when i hit the switch. was there any games that actually had the handle populated?
