I believe it may never work on Windows 10 unfortunately. At least that's the case with the Easypro 80b.
My Easypro 80b worked with Windows XP and, (gulp!) Vista. I had already upgraded to Windows 10 on my desktop and it would never recognize the device. I used an ancient Vista desktop in my garage but recently tossed it because I moved. A friend gave me an old Sony Vaio running Vista which I *thought* was working but when I actually tried to use it, the damn laptop wouldn't recognize any flash drive.  :hissyfit:

I think the best thing is find an old desktop or laptop at a Goodwill store, or Craigslist and I think it will work.
Or do I just did an order an inexpensive XGecu T48 Programmer on Amazon for $61, which works with Windows 10.

They probably never released win10 drivers for it. I have an Xpro3000 that I can't find any drivers for except for winXP.

idyle,
I wonder if you could set your newer laptop to "emulate" the older Window OS systems ( such as XP/Vista/WIN7) so they could detect/recognize these older programmers?
It does look like however, you've tried your EasyPro 90B programmer with Windows 7.
That programmer you have looks very similar like my GQ-4X unit I use...could it be the same thing packaged under another name?
I wonder if you could use the drivers from this website to get your laptop to recognize it?
Here's a link to the McUMall GQ-4X drivers...I don't think it would hurt to try a driver that could be close?
I would try the Windows7 driver first, then the Windows10 32-bit or 64-bit drivers...depending on your version...>>>

Also, just for the heck of it, try plugging in the programmer to a different USB port on your computer.
Sometimes that helps the computer "see" the device you're plugging into it.

Anyways, I seem to have very good luck running these older devices with Toshiba and Dell laptops running Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1 and 64-bit system.
The older laptops running Win 7 were fairly cheap to get on places like ebay. They have a lot of older media card slots, as well as a CD drive.
I'm lucky to have grabbed a couple of cheap laptops before Covid broke out - just in case...because now after Covid, everything in price has skyrocketed.
