Looks like a Bally to me. Maybe an EM?

Thanks Dave. I think it is a bally 742. i need the big round plastic piece that has groves in it on the hopper. It wont let me upload the pic of it. i will try some more.

it is CURRENTLY and 831 - glass is not original bally 0 without a tag on the side - could have been ?  - picture of inside will confirm it is a e/m.

Here is pic of part i need. GOS,  i just know the hopper i found that looks like mine says it works in a 742a. see the part i super glued on. dont know how reliable it would be. if i can not find one i will super glue small metal straps to it.

hopper is setup for a 831 (double wipers) - the spiral disc - don't have any - believe gordy nichol has them - he is on ebay.  The break is not normal - for that part to snap - return spring could be the culpret.

A jackpot of 200 was hit. it paid it out. after that it would not pay out. funny thing is the slot works perfect right now with it just glued like it is. probably has 100 plays on it or more. would you still think spring is bad? why do you say glass is not original. the bottom glass has everything on it the reels have. just curious.

Gordy is a great source for us on the East Coast and an all around good guy.

Glad that he was able to find your part.

I really like that belly glass, have not seen it before.  Nice looking machine.   The glass looks like a later 831 but not late enough that it had a payout meter displayed in reel glass.

I would probably check my zero stop bumper if it busted the spiral either the spring was wild too tight of which normally it would not step up to 200 if it was the bumper is bad too hard what would cause it to snap the end of those plastic spirals I generally tend to install the old metal spirals on most machines because they never snapped off the plastic ones sometimes will snap off if you use a pencil eraser for a zero stop it's just a little too hard
