Hey, is anyone planning to go to the Chicagoland Show in March? I know I've been away a bit of time, but was wondering if we could do a pre-meet like we used to. I was shocked to see it is now at the Lake County Fairgrounds instead of Pheasant Run. Let me know and maybe we can work out a close meet place prior to the show on Saturday.

Hey, Bill good to hear from you. I think resurrecting the pre-show meet might be a good thing. People can PM about stuff for sale or free like we used to, it was always the highlight of the day even when Bunnyslots showed up :stirthepot: .

Ha, poor Brandis, one of the most laid back member I know. It would be good to see the old local members and new faces as well. I will start making a list of items I have available and hope we get some old and newer members to join in!

If we go he already agreed to ride in the trunk IF I can fit him in there. Other option would be to tarp him and attach him to the roof, either way he's ok with it.. And so am I..

Sounds like a plan I'm going to have back surgery sometime in march but I won't know when till I see the sawbones on March 5 so I'll let you guys know for sure. There isn't much around the area to go to best to check with Mr. Small He lives around there

The show is coming up at the end of the month as I recall... Can we get a list together of who's coming and a possible meeting place..... and of course whet we might be bringing to sell ? trade ..... Bill

Well, there's a Wendy's at Peterson & Rt. 45 as a possible meet location, don't know if they are good for breakfast though. I have a couple of machines, older Gamemaker, S-2000 Super Spin Sizzling 7's and an S-2000 Vision, if anyone's interested, PM me. Also if anyone has MACFOG's contact number, please give Kevin a call about this. Anyone who knows a better meet place in the area, speak up, I don't know whats around there available.

I'll see if he want's to meet (8:30am)? You should go to the show They had some great deals on Bluebird 2s last year $1200 or less.
I got 2 shots in the back for my Herniated Disc on Tuesday and will go to PT for 4 weeks and see if that helps if not will have to get surgery. I've been on Norco for 6 weeks and can't carry or drive while on them, but I haven't had any since Sunday so I hope I can make to the end of the month without the terrible pain!

OK, so we are less than 48 hrs. from the planned pre-show meet. The location will be the McDonalds at the corner of Rt. 45 and Rt. 120 at about 8:30 am. This is the first time for a meet at this location so I do not know how it is laid out. Older members will recognize each other (Hopefully) and to newer members, don't be shy, if you see a group of old farts, come on over and ask if we are NLG, all are welcome! A great occasion to make new contacts and then hit the show after. I think I will attend the show since its in a new location for me and see what they have. Everyone please respond with a Yea or Nay to get an idea of numbers. Also post wants here as well, many members have extras or other spare items that may be available. I know I posted machines in this thread as well as Kenokarz, but will not be toting these things to the show for shits and grins. Hope to see everyone there! There are maps of McDonalds and distance to show below.

Well, we made the meet, unfortunately not all showed up, but we made the best of it and had a good time with great conversation. I did not make the show, maybe one of the other members can give a run down of what was available and pricing. We took a pic and it is posted below.
