Title: BB1 Operating System
Post by: pdburgo on April 11, 2022, 07:29:49 AM
Can you tell from the operating system card if it is for a BB1 or BB2. I'm looking at a top o the morning game. The family is 08 Family H13, SHA1-42F9, 512MB CF 08. Is this for a BB1 OR A BB2?

Family H13 is BB2.

Are there 2 versions of this game? One for BB1 and 1 for BB2? The reason I'm asking is I've been on a couple of slot machine dealer's sites and they have machines with top o the morning on them and they say it is a BB1 machine.

Some bb2 games also run fine on a bb1.  BB1's can run BB2 os on games that are compatible with a bb1.  The same is not true the other way, bb2's cannot run bb1 only games that use bb1 OS.  The easy way to determine an OS bb1 vs bb2, is bb1 os' have a firmware id that start with SSOS, while BB2 os' have SSSG.
