WMS Bluebird 1/2/3 TITO Settings
« on: November 22, 2014, 10:55:44 PM »
Can an OP please Sticky this topic.
Here are the TITO setup guidelines for wms bluebird 1, 2 or 3.

One of the differences between the bally system and the wms system, is that during the setup of machine devices, you must set your printer type to netplex, I know it's an RS-232 printer, but it needs to be set to netplex in order for it to work with TITO.  This is shown in picture #1.  After you have your devices, denomination, etc set up.  Then go to Com Setup and then Serial Ports as shown in picture #2.  Set Host Com 1 as Primary SAS as shown in picture #3.  Then hit the config button next to it.  You will end up in picture #4, set Validation to System as shown.  Click Save.  It should return you to picture #2, if not, then hit "Previous".  Hit "SET" it will tell you that you will disable Hot Com 2, touch "Yes."  Then you will touch "Host Setup" which will take you to picture #5, set all the options as shown in green.  Hit Save and you are done.

Notes.  If you do not select "Netplex" in your device screen as part of the setup, after you setup the TITO option, you will get a printer com error, which you can only clear if you can set the printer to netplex.  Depending on the version of the software, you may be able to change it after you reboot, but in some cases, you will have to clear and start over.  So don't forget to set the printer to NETPLEX.

What is needed to do a TITO setup on my 1.5?

I have the printer and the harness.  Is there something else I need to do this other than follow the setup instructions above??
Thanks.......

Steve

You need a TITO BOARD. I got one from Jim at Bettor Slots. Hit him up for one. I recommend his version. It works with a NXT 1 and 2 setup.

My generic TITO board plugs into IGT machines as shown (IGT S2000).
Not sure where the this would connect to my BB1 and BB2?
Anyone have a photo or diagram for attaching it to WMS Blue Birds?
Maybe needs a different connector?
Thanks,

Todd

You use a standard serial cable to connect.  Connect it to the RS-232 port on the backplane.  It's marked RS-232 and it's on the lower left hand corner of the backplane.
If it ain't broke don't mess with it.....
