I have a problem with my atronic that has got me stumped. I bought 2 games for it and cleared it and got them setup and running but I had to disconnect the speakers due to the loud feedback that is always there. Both games do the same thing. Yes you can hear in the background the sound the slot is supposed to make but the feedback is 10 times louder. When the machine is powered up the first startup sound is fine then the background noise starts immediately after. If this was any other slot I would start with replacing the audio amp. But this machine does not have a separate amp that I can see. I have checked all the wiring for the speakers and no breaks or grounds found with a multimeter. I pulled the filterboard and gave it a look over and no components seems burned or cold solder joints. The caps on the multimedia board seem to look ok no expanded tops or anything. I can't figure out what to replace. Anyone ever had this issue before? Its a great machine but not as much fun without the sound.
