Credits Stuck
« on: January 09, 2019, 05:18:26 PM »
Hello Everyone,

I have an Atronic eMotion Mighty Miner machine that got jammed up a little during a move from Texas to PA.  The machine starts up fine and displays two general errors: “APP_Main::InitDevices:BFL_TouchController failed”.  I’m pretty sure these errors have been coming up for years, the touch screen has never worked and is not a big concern.

My problem is that the machine has .15 credits at a penny denomination that are stuck.  It appears like the machine is jammed in hand pay mode although hand pay is not displayed on the screen.  I can’t select keys to spend the .15 credits, I can’t hit repeat the bet, or spin the wheels.  Also, I can’t insert any cash into the collector since the light is off.    Turning the Jackpot reset key removes the error from the screen but does nothing else.  I can hold the jackpot key back to open and access the Audit Menu and all that cycles fine with the keys on the panel, same goes for the service menu when I press the button.  I can’t enter any of the menus that require 0 credits on the machine of course...   there are no error codes so I have no idea what to do at this point.    Any help or suggestions for me to try would be great.  This machine has no comm board.  I have no clear ram chip.

I’m savvy enough test things with a multi meter, solder batteries, pull and replace EPROMS, etc.  Thanks!

I found my problem just Incase someone else has a similar problem.  I had a bad logic door wire/switch, I put a jumper In place of the switch and did a quick jackpot reset after closing the door.  All good now...

Next mission, getting touch screen to work and the adjustable game height.
