hi, I have a IGT AVP GL20 with a bill acceptor bezel light that will not light up blue, everything functions as normal besides the blue LEDs, I have swapped out the LED board for a known working one... still wont light up.. I've had the machine for a few years, its never worked. I think, I traced the wiring back to the backplane, connection seems good, any ideas? thanks. |

I think it has more to do with the bill validator harness and its connections. Only when the BV is ready to accept bills, will it send a signal, or route power to light up the bezel. I'd try this...>>> With the power OFF, un-plug and re-plug the BV harness, both at the BV, and at the backplane header. Maybe it's just a bad pin connection? |
