Title: Bally 6000 handle question
Post by: BALLIGATOR on June 15, 2014, 11:32:33 AM
Hi,

I bought an S 6000 which was manufactured without a handle. There was no hole, nothing inside but the cable that goes to the assembly when there is one.

I installed a handle but there is no click when i insert a coin.

My question is: are the programs on the cpu different when there is no handle, which I doubt?

Thanks

It sounds like you might be missing a voltage. check the cable you've plugged in to see if it alive.

Thanks for the reply.

Actually, there is no click when a coin is put in.

Then How do you know you have power on the handle solenoid? Does the coin go to the hopper or pass through the machine?

The coins are registered and I can play normally except there is no click  and as a consequence I cannot use the handle.

You do know, you must use the "Bet One" button to use the handle.

When you hooked the handle up were there two plugs? One for the solenoid and one for the micro switch that starts the reels spinning when the handle presses it? I'm relying on what I know from IGT machines and assuming Bally uses a similar setup
