Title: IGT S+ Bill Acceptors HELP
Post by: Akriegs on October 25, 2018, 06:07:04 PM
Just picked up ebay find. IGT s+ triple diamond. Its a 1$ denom. The DBV200 that came with it appears to be missing the wire harness connector on the left side. I compared to my other working machine and noticed the 2 wires that is used is here with a different connector at the end. The working dbv uses pin 1 and pin 4. the new machine has a connector that is using pin 1 and pin 2. Question> can i just plug that into the connection as shown in the photo attached? Do i need to move the wires to pin 1 and  4?
I took the DBV from this new machine and tried it in my other working machine and it just whines. I can use one of my working dbv's to test on this new machine but i have to get the wires right first. Any suggestions?
Since it uses dollar size tokens and i dont own any  can i just switch the
coin comparator so i can use quarters? Do i need to change the piece on top where you put the coin into to make it work?

that two pin connector is used to turn on the door bezel (yellow back lit piece).  it puts out a +5 vdc signal, so polarity is in play.  compare your other plug on the other machine to where the wires connect to and copy that connection. the two pin connector was used to connect a WBA unit, going back to the 200 unit you will have to either find the older style plug or modify yours.

I have the older style plug (I save them when I convert the machines to a WBA).

as far as the dollar conversion, you will have to replace the coin in head, use a cc-16 instead of a cc-33 and harness ,  move the four plastic cc holders from the inside position to the outside position,  change out the black encoder in the coin in optics, move the coin chute on the door panel, change the shelf wheel and add a star agitator to your hopper. and change the dollar decal on the reel glass,  you will have to have a set chip to set the denomination to 25 cents.   I have all these parts.

Hope this helps
