Title: WMS bb1 reel denomination setup
Post by: mguistolise on April 17, 2022, 08:13:06 PM
As soon as I change the base denomination to .01, the credit limit turns red. I have spent hours changing numbers. Even copied numbers from another bb1. Can anyone help? What am I doing wrong?

I finally got the machine running. But could not get any other denominations to work. So it prints out a ticket after the credit hits 999.00. So annoying. Anyone know how I  can fix this?

The bb1 steppers only have 7 LED positions for the number of credits of credits on the machine.  So if you have a penny denom, your max credit limit would have to be 99,999.99.  If you work within the limits of the 7 digits, you would need to raise the accounting denom to match your max credit.  So if you wanted to have 999,999.90 you would need to setup accounting denom to 10 cents.  There's also a caveat that the credit limit may also be limited by jurisdictional or game version, so YMMV.  You could just play with the number of digits on the credit limit until you get a credit limit that works best for you.

Thanks for the response Rick. I literally spent hours playing with all numbers. When I  get close, like only one red box, then I  change another, multiple boxes turn red. This machine had no credit issues until I  ran the clear due to battery change. If you or anyone can give me the correct number to put in iwould be very grateful.
