Hello,
I just restarted an IGT S+ Double Red White & Blue but I can't get any sound when the reels are turning.
The sound works when I insert token, when the reels stop or when there is a winning game, but nothing when the reels spin ???
Dip switch 3 on the MPU is ON.
Is there another parameter to adjust?
I'm used to the menus on S2000/Vision or Bally S6000, but on S+ it's new and it's a bit complex to understand.

Well, having the coin in sound means it isnt the speaker system. I want to say it is in the set key config. other s+ geniuses will be able to give you more detailed info. I don't know it by memory and I am away from my binder that I made with how-to's for the s+ machines (all gathered from here on NLG).

Thank you, and in fact, it's possibel that my SP731 chip don't support reel spin sound :Scratch-Head:

everything i have read on the sp731 says it does (with proper dip switch enabled). others had similar issues, but enabling dip switch enabled reel spin sound. it may be that the game itself doesnt play nice with the sp731 for reel spin audio. Ron would be the best person to talk to. goes by RB on here.

Try turning on credit mode and see if the spin sounds start working.

I opted for the radical solution, I replaced the SP731 chip with the SP1160 chip, then I activated option 2 in the menu and it works !
