Title: bally alpha 5 reel
Post by: Bjz112887 on June 29, 2015, 03:27:29 PM
I currently have a Bally five reel slot machine. The game is a wild sevens quick hits. I wanted to change the pay out percentage on it. I don't even know where to start. What's kind of chips What I need to be able to succeed this mission? Detailed information would be great because this is the first time I've ever owned a balls system.

You have to perform a RAM CLEAR with a compact flash card. If you dont have one a vendor can sell you one. Then you can reinstall the game and change the payout percent. Quick Hit's highest payout is 94%. Low of 85-88%

You will need a Clear card to change the percentage. To determine which Clear you need, you will need to know what OS (Operating System) you are running. With the machine OFF, locate the CF cards on the front of the MPU and pop them out. One will be the Game Program and one will be the OS. The identifier of the OS will start with AVO and end in something like 312-0. If not sure, snap a pic of the cards and return them to their corresponding spots on the MPU.

Roz is 100% correct.  The OS card you have dictates the clear needed.  Then you will have to Completly set up your game again and many here or myself if I am around can help with that.

Ok here is what I have.

I program a igt s2000 a few days ago. That was easy I had a clear chip and ram clear. Will the Bally be that hard to do?

You need a 335 clear .  As far as set up if you never done it before-you will need help.  Alpha menu's however are user friendly.
