E-Series?
« on: October 05, 2022, 10:53:35 AM »
Good day all,

I went to pick up an IGT video poker machine yesterday from a gentleman who was getting ready to move to another state. I picked up the video poker machine and he threw in a Bally slot as well. Both machines work perfectly, so I'm not here to troubleshoot, but I would like to get some more info on the slot. Manuals and such would be great, and really, I'd like to find out if the machine can be tightened up at all. I mean, it's a blast to play when you're constantly winning, but I feel like I'm going to have to be refilling the hopper pretty often, especially since played coins don't go to the hopper. The plate on the side says E-1090-1 I assume this makes it an E-Series machine. I've looked at pictures online (and maybe I'm mostly seeing the old EM 1090s), but my game has skill stop buttons, and none of the pictures I've been able to find of what are supposedly E-1090s have them. Just trying to verify what I have and hopefully get some info for future maintenance and troubleshooting. Oh, and the guy I got it from didn't get it with a door key, so he forced it open. No apparent damage, but the door just pulls open. Are replacement locks available?

There are extra input ports on the I/O board and are used for the skill stop feature.
Let them that don't want any, have memories of not getting any.

Can you shoot me a PM with prices on a door lock? Are they easy enough to change out?

The locks are 15.00 plus shipping. if you can pull the door open you may need a new locking bar mechanism as well, depending on how much damage was done.

It looks like the lock bar is ok, it's just held in the open position by the busted lock. How should I order a replacement lock from you?
