Be aware. The pinout going to the mother board is different on the red labeled and the yellow labeled power supply. - Erik

Pretty certain that watching and hearing a loud popping sound, oozing grease from handle into the power supply means it's likely dead or at least needs to be repaired.

And I swapped with a know good one from another machine and it works. Oh and fuses were fine.

We shall see :)

Oozing the orange grease is actually normal for some reason.

Oozing the orange grease is actually normal for some reason.

Yeah, I've seen it often, mostly because machines are transported on their side.

This is the first time I've seen it ooze into th holes and cover the caps, etc in the power supply. Might night be the actual issue, just a guess.

The oozing orange goo is the pull handle rubber stop pad, deteriorating from age. That's what happens to rubber when it gets old.
