Title: Aristocrat MKV CRT Monitor Issue
Post by: Hello1212 on February 14, 2020, 02:57:13 AM

Hi All,

Any suggestions on what the issue with this Chunghwa CRT is? It’s from a MKV 1997. Interesting that the settings buttons when pressed display the menu fine. I’ve taken it out, plugged it all back in, reseated RAM etc. but all the same.

Thanks!

if this machine uses any type of pixel or video chips I would put in some known working chips and try to narrow the problem, looks like a video feed issue to me.

I had a similar issue with my MK6 and it
turned out to be that the MPU was not fully seated.
You have to push the MPU in very firmly!
