Title: CERONIX - 1492H VS 1492G
Post by: GOS on November 24, 2014, 10:19:20 AM
have a non-working 1492-H monitor - have a 1492-G that is new - do not have my ceronix manual to check jumpers - does anyone know what the 1492G is used on and what the jumpers are supposed to be?  thanks

I beleave that the (G) and (H) are just different board versions. Whats important is setting the jumpers for want it's going into.. IGT has it's own jumper settings, as does Bally, Brunswick, and many many more.. If your a contrubiting member, I beleave that there is a Ceronix down load with all those different jumper settings, in the down load area...

got the manual - only one set of jumpers for IGT - will check them out. Hopefully the NEW 1492G will work out else sending the old one in to ceronix is a viable option - since they repair them for a reasonable amount.  thank you
i checked the jumpers of the IGT 1492 - and they match the jumpers in the manual - HOWEVER - the 1492 IGT says something about delete degaussing circuit?  The NEW chassis I have - when installed -  started to ARC so - needless to say - power down.  The original chassis powered up with a line accross the tube - unable to adjust.  I would say the tube is okay - the NEW chassis has an issue.  Guess I will send them both back to CERONIX and have one for a spare.
