Title: Triple Play / Five Play Poker
Post by: DanTheMan on July 09, 2016, 02:23:34 PM
Is Triple Play / Five Play poker available on the 3902 platform? What chip set should I be looking for? I always enjoyed playing these games. I suppose multi-denomination would be preferred over single denomination.

Yes it is.  3/5 play is EPROM based.  M0000303, G0000236, and C0000266 is one MD variant.  I'm sure there are several.  3/5/10 play is EPROM/SIMM based and has more games than the EPROM based version.  I have an original (not a copy) set that I'll let go for $135 if you're interested.  Attached is the PSR for it.

Thanks for the inputs, everyone. I was able to find a working set (EPROM only, Triple / Five Play poker only) and am in the process of documenting the paytables. Gotta love a dealt 4 of a Kind.

Nice, Congratulations!  I was playing 10 play deuces wild one day and got dealt 4 deuces.  I got so excited I forgot to hold them before hitting deal/draw again  :duh:   Luckily it was at home, so I laughed it off  :24:

Reminds me of a time I was having a really good night at the casino and decided to play some of the house's money on the $5 machines, with the nice purple candle on top. I got a few more nice hits and won another thousand or so on that one. Then, I noticed a 10 Play, $1 poker. It was cool because the monitor was oriented vertically, so the 10 hands were stacked straight up on the display. At $50 a pop, I thought I'd play it for 10 minutes or so and just leave with my winnings for the night. After a few hands, I got dealt 4 Aces! Wow! Now, I have 10 draws to pick up a kicker. At 12 of 47 chances on each draw, and with 10 shots at it, I figured I should probably hit 2 or 3. I went 0 for 10 and was pissed off. What bad luck! Then the machine stopped and was flashing Call Attendant - Jackpot $8000. Suddenly, I wasn't too pissed off after all!

Yeah. "losing" wouldn't seem so bad with that hand
