Glad someone is making an archive of these, I am planning on backing these up erasing the chips and use them for other things. Is there a rom ident place we can use I have some IGT Roms that I cannot read the labels.

You need to make 5 posts in order to see or send PM's.
It's to get rid of bots.

The unidentified  IGT roms you have...what chip devices are they on and size?
Can you calculate, lets say a four-digit CRC?
We may be able to help ID them for you?

All unknowns I believe are 2764. I was hoping someone had a list of roms and checksum's to compare against as to not waste time read check list if on list move to next.

I would be happy to read the unknowns zip them up and upload prior to dropping in to the UV.

you can look in the files (hex editor -Hxd shown in pic) Compare to known files to see which type.  some will even have the identity inside.  I search for things like PP, XP X000 etc

Yea, no time for that. I would rather look at a list of checksums if not found then I would investigate further.

I certainly wasn't trying to be insulting. I just wrote that text file to help the novice. But it was really meant to show the standard naming convention used.  Check your PM soonish....
