Title: White side project
Post by: tuna on April 06, 2019, 04:14:37 PM
Was a package deal with the other 742a, also came with the stands as a bonus.  A great deal of old dried grease in the Money Honey.  Question I have most Money Honey machines have black reel strips, yet these where white.

Do you have lemons on the third reel strip? If not then they are not an orginial money honey. It’s possible it has reproduction reel strips?

It is a beautiful machine I do not think it is original do the white real strips and the lack of lemons and the fact that it has a five + 15 + $20 payout the early machines did not have that somebody has rebuilt it they have done one nice job if you have any problems let me know if you want to restore it back to her money honey let me know I believe somewhere around here I have six deaths of original money honey strips that will only go to Whiteside County machines do to the fact they are so hard to find I have 5 of these machines myself I love them

Yes the Money Honey has a bunch of Lemons on the third reel, its the white side nickel machine.  It must have been in the sun at one time as the reels are more yellow than white.    Jon the 10c machine is just a 742a, was part of the package, and the wife said I needed a dime machine.

Harvs that is a BEAUTIFUL machine!

I only wish it did, you can see where it was at one time on the lower back of the machine.

The original White Sides 742A had 110V electrics, and its transformer was only to provide 6V for the lights.

ok then that would be the definitive clue to its origin, also the glass would have Bally MFG Corporation like my Plexi replacement on my 742. Going to putting up some leftover belly, reel glass, and awards cards and ONE of these Plexi M/Honey replacement reel on Evilbay today If anyone wants to make a reasonable offer please PM me before it goes online.
