Title: Replaced Battery, Now Wont Accept Coins

I just replaced the battery in my Five Times Pay machine and am back up and running, except that the machine will no longer accept coins. It worked fine before. I confirmed the bill validator works and will accept tickets and bills. The hopper also works. It is setup for split pay and at cash out will pay out coin and print a ticket for the balance. It just won't accept coins. All inserted coins drop into the coin tray.
The coin comparator green light is on. It has the sample coin in place. What am I missing ?   :Scratch-Head:

Update


I rebooted the machine three times, now all of a sudden it accepts coins perfectly. Could this be a sign of the coin comparator going bad ?

many times you just have to put in a new sample coin and you will be off to the races.
