Title: Top Glass and Players Card Equipment Help

Hello all,

On the same machine i have been posting about to get up and running, which hasnt happened yet, i also have to replace the top glass. I think i have found one, but also wondered if folks remove the Players Card equipment and then find a larger glass to make up the space, as opposed to making a filler, etc? Is that possible or when there is a players card system installed then having a full glass wont work due to mounting issues, etc. ??

Normally, S+'s come in three styles of top-boxes...9" flat top, 16" flat top, and 16" round top.

Usually we leave the player tracking faceplate installed...it was made to fit the glass that would be on top of it.

Thanks. Is it safe to assume that all of those versions have glass that fit with a player tracker and also without one? So in other words there are 6 different glass versions?

Only 3 usual types really...the ones that are different are rarer...for the tall Barcrest topboxes.
What size is the hole presently...from the top of the player tracking faceplate to the inside top of the box?
Do you have a tape measure?

There are a lot of S and S+ machines that have NO player tracking panel.  I have three with no panel.  If the machine has one you need to keep it there or top glass will not fix.

Yes, that was my initial question was if there were the same glass game options with AND without the tracker so that one can remove it and get the glass that matches the game but is longer for without a tracker.
