So, I've gotten my LED button upgrade kit. I'm ready to install, but I quickly realized that there is no Ground post on the new bulb holder. Is this to be expected? What do I do with the existing ground wire that is currently connected to all (or most) of the buttons?

You don't need it...it never really worked.
if you bust one of those old buttons apart, the metal ground post doesn't go anywhere...it's just molded into the plastic! :rotfl:
