Title: Repairing a burnt out door button I/O card.
Post by: Stayouttadabunker on January 03, 2023, 09:32:07 AM
A dummy pulled out or installed a door button deck I/O card ( The one that goes on the glass sideof the door panel ) while the machine was powered on. ( Noooo...it wasn't me  :24: )

Below is a photo I just took of two door I/O cards removed from their respectives metal housings....side-by-side.

The 1st card on the left is the burned out one....smells like crap.
I already unsoldered the brown C5 location cap and placed it on top of the Molex housing.
Positive (+) is twards the right on this circuit board.

The 2nd card on the right is a known good 801 I/O card.
The numbers etched onto the top of the body of the C5 cap are...>>>

335
35k
008

The 3rd picture I posted below is a good photo of this Tantalum C5 cap.

This Mouser link below is a webpage of various caps.
Which one would you recommend?  :Scratch-Head:
I think I need the voltage of it and the uF value to order the right ones...>>>
