Running Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (on 2 computers, both give exact same errors/problems)

The program loads and looks ready but won't connect (show simm card). 
I tried to update firmware and it give "error writing command"
Green light on simm burner is dim, on my windows 10 and 11 machines it is bright
Got an error when I plugged the usb cable in (first time only) that it was unable to install driver

You have to install the USB driver manually.  It's in a subdirectory called driver and then a file named CDM 2.02.04.exe.  Double click that and it will install the driver.  You may have to reboot your computer, but then it should work after that.

The files I have are on a usb drive, there is a directory QCP, it has one subdirectory Firmware.  There is not any file named cdm 2.02.04.exe.  I also searched windows for that file and could not find it.
